    Tongzhou has perfect public service facilities, and is growing at breakneck pace. Four regional health care centers have been planed and built, provided with Luhe Hospital, Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (East Section of Dongzhimen Hospital), Xinhua Hospital and other leading hospitals, with public health services to achieve full coverage. Meanwhile, Tongzhou also vigorously introduce medical resources,such as  Concord International (Beijing) Medical Park, Beijing Children's Hospital, the East Section of Fu Wai Angiocardiopathy Hospital, Beijing International Tumour Center, Zhongmei Children's Hospital and other leading medical institutions will be settled in Tongzhou.
    To further promote elite school establishing branch school project, Tongzhou District introduced Beijing Second high school, Shijia primary school, Beijing primary school, Yucai primary school and other schools to organize branch schools in Tongzhou. New City is also planning the construction of Higher Education Park, attracting various forms of higher learning located in the central city of Tongzhou, congregating Beijing Materials Institute, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing Contemporary Music Institute, Beijing Traffic Institute of Cadre Management, Jiahua College of Beijing Technology and Business University and a number of colleges and universities. In 2012,the school sites of Beijing Film Academy, East Campus of Renmin University of China were officially settled in Tongzhou, forming regional cultural influences.
